About The Position

Strategic Support Solutions is seeking a skilled and decisive Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Mechanic, A&P certified, to perform critical, time-sensitive maintenance at the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport. This role involves getting high-end corporate and private jets back in the air, working a unique 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for aviation and a deep knowledge of corporate aircraft.

Requirements

Valid A&P Certificate.
A minimum of 3 years of general aviation maintenance experience.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Bombardier (Challenger, Global), Embraer (Phenom, Praetor/Legacy), or Cessna Lattitude.
Hands-on experience with Garmin 3000 and/or 5000 avionics suites.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogs.
Comfortable using computers and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Apple products.
Comfortable and willing to work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet) using fall protection.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand or sit for extended periods.
Ability to pass background checks for unescorted access to Security Identification Display Areas (SIDA), including a potential FBI criminal history check.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality, rapid-response maintenance on a diverse fleet of corporate and general aviation aircraft.
Work on a variety of airframes, including Bombardier (Challenger, Global), Embraer (Phenom 300, Praetor/Legacy), Gulfstream, Cessna (Lattitude), Falcon, Learjet, and Hawker.
Execute a wide range of maintenance tasks, from routine inspections and servicing to complex avionics troubleshooting and FAA-approved repairs.
Read and interpret technical manuals to solve complex issues.
Accurately complete all work orders.
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
