About The Position

Provides aircraft maintenance services to university-based and transient aircraft; maintains, repairs and adjusts aircraft engines and components; maintains and repairs aircraft frames; flight controls, landing gear, flight instrument systems and related components; performs airframe and engine regular interval inspections; maintains and calibrates supporting tools and equipment.

Requirements

  • Airframe and Powerplant mechanic license issued by FAA
  • Valid driver's license
  • DOT identified safety-sensitive position, and candidate will be subject to DOT random drug testing while employed in this position
  • Ability to understand aircraft mechanical systems
  • Ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages
  • Ability to read simple sentences with common vocabulary
  • Ability to cooperate with co-workers
  • Ability to show dexterity
