About The Position
The Anticipated Food Service III position at Washington Heights Elementary School is available beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. It is a 5.5 hours per day, 179 days per year position. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Must be able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation including, but not limited to, the use of commercial ovens, slicers, food choppers, and can openers.
- Assist in the serving of meals.
- Cleaning of all food service areas.
- Assists in handling foods and supplies.
- Stands for long periods of time.
- Performs such other tasks and responsibilities necessary for the operation of the kitchen.
