Maryland Hunger Solutions (MDHS), an initiative of the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC), seeks an Anti-Hunger Program Associate to increase participation in and the quality of public nutrition programs in Maryland and address related community food security issues. The role focuses initially on SNAP and uses outreach, advocacy, research, coalition-building, technical assistance, public education, and program monitoring. The position reports to the MDHS SNAP Program Lead. Candidates must reside in the Maryland, D.C., or Virginia metro areas. Mileage and parking for required travel are reimbursable. The position is union-covered under the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range is $62,000–$65,000, with final salary based on experience and qualifications. FRAC offers health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, and generous leave. The position is available immediately and will close when filled.
