The Anthropology Administrative Support Assistant II should be organized, detail oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. Under general supervision, the Anthropology Administrative Support Assistant II provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for an academic department. The position serves as the primary front-office point of contact, delivering high-quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors; coordinating office workflow; and supporting department communications, scheduling, records management, and event logistics including Commencement. Provides registration support, leads the department’s Student Opinion Questionnaire (SOQ) process, maintains the department website and marketing materials, and serves as backup Department IT Coordinator (DITC) as needed. The Anthropology Administrative Support Assistant II coordinates and processes faculty and student travel requests and reimbursements (including international travel), supports textbook adoption and desk copy requests. Other duties as assigned.
