About The Position

Anodizing Rackers are responsible for racking, unracking, and packing aluminum parts for the anodizing process. This role involves securing parts onto racks using small hand tools, safely removing them after processing, and preparing them for shipment. Employees must be capable of setting up and tearing down racks while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Positions are available on the 1st Shift (7a-3p) and 2nd Shift (3p-11p), with a pay rate of $17.50/hr. The positions are located in Elkhart, IN.

Requirements

Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor
Frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of parts
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, balance, and reach throughout the shift
Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
Ability to push and maneuver loaded carts
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Rack and unrack parts for the anodizing process using tools such as box-end wrenches and ratchets
Pack finished parts to ensure protection during storage and shipment
Set up and tear down anodizing racks as needed
Lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds regularly
Operate small hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Retrieve parts for racking and transport them to designated storage areas
Move materials and products throughout the facility, including pushing loaded carts
Maintain a steady pace while meeting production and quality standards
