About The Position

DXC Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Annuity Analyst – Death Claims to support a financial services account. The role processes annuity death claims accurately, empathetically, and efficiently, working with internal departments and external contacts to meet service standards and regulatory guidelines. The analyst also identifies opportunities to improve customer and operational processes.

The role is currently remote and is expected to transition to a hybrid arrangement based on the candidate’s proximity to the nearest DXC office. The schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in insurance operations, annuity processing, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and claims procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
• Excellent written communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and a professional, client-focused attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience handling annuity or death claims specifically.

Responsibilities

• Process annuity death claims according to internal procedures and compliance requirements.
• Communicate professionally with agents, beneficiaries, and internal teams to resolve questions and provide claim status updates.
• Execute transactions promptly in line with internal standards and regulatory timelines, including SEC timelines.
• Identify and escalate suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity.
• Provide customer service through written correspondence and verbal communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of claim activities and decisions.
• Learn new systems or processes as business needs evolve.
• Support process optimization and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
