About The Position
Clinvet NY is seeking an Animal Facilities Support Technician to assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of animal rooms and caging, as well as study room setup and breakdown. This role involves standing, moving, and lifting for extended periods, including the removal of animal and general waste, sanitization of animal areas, moving of animal food and bedding, and general maintenance of animal areas.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to maneuver 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work the duration of an eight-hour shift, on your feet, in constant motion.
- Ability to communicate effectively by talking, listening, reading, and writing in a professional manner.
- Must be sober and clear of influence of any substances including alcohol and legal recreational drugs, which may affect the ability of user, safety of animals and other staff members, and work quality in any manner.

- Experience with lab animals or animal facility operations.
