Animal Care Technicians provide loving care for pet guests at the pet hotel, with a focus on safety, comfort, and cleanliness. The role involves caring for boarding guests, maintaining clean and sanitary areas, and providing customer service to human and pet guests. Requirements

Love of animals.
Professional manner at all times.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds or more.
Ability to stand and walk for eight hours a day.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on a computer system.
Ability to handle dogs on leashes and work around disinfectant and sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and animal excretions.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 1 year of professional animal experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain pet suites, condos, general boarding areas, and the kitchen.
Feed and water pet guests, and feed and medicate them according to instructions.
Monitor each pet guest and accurately chart their consumption and elimination; report concerns to management.
Monitor pet belongings.
Perform laundry duties.
Welcome human and pet guests and check pets in and out while providing excellent customer service.
Escort pets to and from their rooms.
Follow safe handling procedures and correctly identify animal body language and behavior.
Provide individual care to boarding guests and complete scheduled activities.
Sanitize and disinfect pet suites, condos, and general boarding areas.
Communicate with management and other team members.
Assist other associates and perform other duties as needed.
Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
Work individually and as part of a team.
