Destination Pet is seeking an Animal Care Attendant to join their team at Raintree Pet Resort and Medical Center. This role involves providing care for pets, ensuring their comfort and safety, and maintaining a clean environment. Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Must be able to be on feet for the duration of your shift.
• Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently.
• A borderline-obsessive love for animals.
• A cool, calm, and professional demeanor.
• A willingness to get your hands dirty.

Nice To Haves

• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serving meals and fresh water to pets.
• Monitoring the health, happiness, and waste of every pet guest.
• Reporting any unusual observations to the General or Assistant Manager.
• Supervising playtime and activities.
• Assisting with brushing and bath time.
• Handling laundry and pet belongings.
• Making tails wag.
• Other duties as assigned.
