About The Position

Destination Pet is seeking an Animal Care Attendant for their Bow Wow Bungalow location. This role involves hands-on care for pets, ensuring their comfort, safety, and happiness. The company emphasizes a team-oriented, pet-obsessed culture focused on revolutionizing the pet industry and elevating the lives of pet families. Services offered include day care, boarding, grooming, training, and veterinary services.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and pet accidents is expected.
• Must be able to be on feet for the duration of your shift.
• Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently.
• Available 6a-830p at least 3 days a week.

Nice To Haves

• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn if brand new to animal care.

Responsibilities

• Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serving meals and fresh water.
• Monitoring the health, happiness, and behavior of each pet guest.
• Reporting any unusual observations to management.
• Supervising playtime.
• Assisting with brushing and bath time.
• Handling laundry and pet belongings.
• Making tails wag.
• Other duties as assigned.
