About The Position

Juno Veterinary is seeking an Animal Care Attendant/Member Experience Coordinator to join their team. This role combines the responsibilities of an Animal Care Attendant (ACA) and a Member Experience Coordinator (MEC). ACAs are responsible for keeping clinics running as a welcoming, compassionate, and supportive presence for pets and humans. MECs focus on details to ensure every encounter reflects the Juno Standard of Care and every member feels seen and heard. This combined role, Clinic Steward, focuses on details, keeps clinics running, and reflects the Juno Standard of Care in all aspects. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in animal care and husbandry, as well as animal handling in a veterinary clinic setting.
  • Strong understanding of sterilization and cleanliness for infectious disease control.
  • Previous customer-facing experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive and productive clinic environment.
  • Previous experience as an ACA/Veterinary Assistant required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and organization.
  • Ability to anticipate needs of the patient and team.
  • Ability to support and contribute to a team environment that fosters ongoing collaboration and learning.
  • Willing to be on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Able to anticipate needs to a certain extent for appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on patient care always and all ways.
  • Support the RVT and DVM team in treatment and patient care areas to support appointment flows and patient comfort.
  • Remain open to feedback and being coachable in the pursuit of being better to best support the team.
  • Proactively support the day’s schedule by planning, communicating, and organizing what’s needed for appointments.
  • Collaborate with the ACA team to exchange knowledge and information.
  • Welcome members and their pets, making every visit feel stress-free.
  • Manage clinic flow, including opening/closing, scheduling appointments and surgeries, and checking patients in/out.
  • Support the medical team by coordinating records, consent forms, and reminders for pet parents.
  • Be the first point of contact for in-clinic communications across email and SMS platforms.
  • Process payments, insurance, prescriptions, and provide membership technical support.
  • Always represent a gold standard of care.
  • Contribute to an environment that fosters excellence and ongoing learning.
  • Help foster a positive collaborative clinic culture.

Benefits
