Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Current medical license to practice in Texas
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in anesthesiology
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• TEE certification required
• Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anesthesia care plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
• Conduct preoperative assessments and evaluate patient medical histories
• Manage postoperative pain and provide necessary follow-up care
• Maintain accurate medical records related to anesthesia administration
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practices and protocols
• Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines in all anesthesia-related activities
