About The Position
USAP Colorado Springs is seeking 1099 PRN Anesthesiologists to join their physician-owned and physician-led practice in Southern Colorado. The practice emphasizes physician work-life balance through flexibility and individual autonomy. They hold exclusive contracts at 3 CommonSpirit hospitals and 6 outpatient surgery centers, offering a diverse case mix including orthopedics, ENT, spine, neurosurgery, L&D, healthy pediatrics, urology, vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery. The team comprises approximately 50 physicians, 25 CAAs, and 5 CRNAs. This is an hourly position with no call or weekend duties, offering flexible scheduling options. Medical malpractice, including tail insurance, is provided. Supervision is optional, and there are no non-compete clauses or restrictions on external moonlighting.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology.
- Meet hospital credentialing requirements for hospitals where privileges will be held.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services at hospitals and outpatient surgery centers.
- Manage a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, ENT, spine, neurosurgery, L&D, healthy pediatrics, urology, vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians, CAAs, and CRNAs.
- Optional supervision of other care team members.
- Adhere to hospital credentialing requirements.
