About The Position
We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. This role involves both clinical duties and call coverage for outpatient and inpatient settings. The coverage period is from December 28, 2026, to January 3, 2027. The shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with call duties during nights and weekends. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center utilizing the Epic EMR system. This is a supplemental coverage need.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- WI or ACT 10 License
- Active DEA
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, Pedia, Regional, and Thoracic cases.
Responsibilities
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery.
- Provide post-operative pain management including epidural and nerve blocks.
- Supervise CRNAs and other anesthesia staff.
- Respond to emergency calls for airway management and resuscitation.
