Join Ambulatory Anesthesia Care - Southwest (AAC Southwest), an ambulatory-only anesthesia practice. Founded in 2011, AAC Southwest continues to expand in size and footprint, currently serving locations in DFW, Houston, El Paso, Corpus Christi, and Austin. They provide anesthesia services for specialties including Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental (Pediatric and Adult). The practice emphasizes no call, no nights (late-day coverage rarely ends after 6 PM), and no weekends (elective Saturday cases are volunteer with additional compensation). It's a low-stress practice with no Obstetrics, Cardiothoracic, Trauma, or Neonates. Full-time anesthesiologists are eligible for a profit-sharing partnership after 2 years. Requirements

  • ABA Board-Certified or Eligible (certification required within 7 years of completing residency)
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced ambulatory environment, including office-based sites of service
  • Experience with supervising CRNAs
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to several client sites (but rarely more than one per day)

Nice To Haves

  • Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia training preferred
  • Willingness to travel to AAC's other locations in Texas
  • Licensed in Illinois, Oregon or Washington

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality and efficient care to ambulatory surgery centers, office-based anesthesia locations and acute care surgical hospitals
  • Provide anesthesia services for Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology and Dental (Pediatric and Adult) specialties
  • Supervise CRNAs
  • Travel to several client sites (but rarely more than one per day)
