About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for their new office in Glastonbury/Hartford, CT. This role is PRN to cover vacation weeks, offering a predictable Monday-Thursday schedule with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays. The position involves independent practice with 100% autonomy and a daily guarantee. Nuvia focuses on life-changing dental implant treatments and prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is efficient, self-motivated, and willing to be trained on nasal intubations if not already experienced. Anesthesiologists are respected leaders within the center, contributing to a positive and engaging culture.

Requirements

Board Certified in Anesthesia
Current state medical license
Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance
Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful

Experience with nasal intubations

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
