About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is hiring a part-time Anesthesiologist at its Tysons Corner Medical Center. MAPMG is a physician-led group of more than 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., caring exclusively for Kaiser Permanente patients. Its physicians work across more than 60 specialties and use a comprehensive electronic health record to coordinate care. MAPMG focuses on long-term health, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, and supports research, education, and quality improvement. The role includes anesthesia practice for a case mix of orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, bread-and-butter pediatrics, and spine cases; it does not include cardiac or neurosurgery cases. The position offers a flexible schedule, a collaborative and supportive professional environment, and no billing or production pressure. The starting hourly rate is $250.00. Requirements

MD or DO.
Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesia.
Currently licensed, or able to obtain licenses, in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for cases involving orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, bread-and-butter pediatrics, and spine.
Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care.
