About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join their team at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. This position offers a competitive salary and a balanced schedule with no weekday call. The anesthesia team is collaborative, consisting of 3 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs. The role involves providing anesthesia for a variety of case types including general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neuro, and pain management. The hospital primarily serves adult patients, and there is no trauma, transplant, or CV coverage required. This is the final opening to complete the team.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Proficiency in regional blocks and peripheral nerve blocks.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases.
- Participate in weekend call rotation.
- Collaborate with CRNAs and other Anesthesiologists.
- Administer anesthetics for adult patients.
- Cover general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neuro, and pain management cases.
