Anesthesiologist- Christus Westover Hills Hospital $550k with No Weekday Call
About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join their team at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. This position offers a competitive salary and a generous amount of time off. The anesthesia team is collaborative, consisting of 3 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs. The role involves primary OR call and backup OB call, with specific weekend call shifts. The hospital covers a variety of case types including general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neuro, and pain management. OB cases are primarily handled by a dedicated CRNA team. The majority of patients are adults, and there is no requirement for trauma, transplant, or CV coverage. This is the final opening to complete the team.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Proficiency in regional blocks and peripheral nerve blocks.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for various surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neuro, and pain management.
- Take primary OR call and backup OB call.
- Participate in approximately 10 weekend call shifts per year.
- Collaborate with a team of CRNAs and other Anesthesiologists.
- Cover approximately 6 rooms per day with the support of CRNAs and other MDs.
- Float between OR or OB as needed.
- Provide anesthesia for adult patients.
- Work in a setting with no trauma, transplant, or CV coverage requirements.
