About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join a new four-person team at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role offers a broad case mix in a supervisory model, team support, and 13 weeks off. Compensation is $700,000 on a 1099 basis, with a $30,000 sign-on bonus. Three anesthesiologists are on site daily, working with 11–14 CRNAs. Call is 1:3. During scheduled work weeks, daily assignments rotate among an early (first-out) shift, an ASC shift, and the late call assignment. The position is offered by Essential Anesthesia Management, a clinician-founded and clinician-led anesthesia management company formed through a partnership between YPS and EmergencHealth. The company provides department management at more than 125 facilities in six states, with over 1,400 CRNA and Anesthesiologist providers. Paid malpractice coverage with tail, access to group benefits through preferred partners, and corporate clinical leadership support are offered to 1099 clinicians. Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Oklahoma licensure or ability to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a supervisory model across a diverse case mix, including General, Orthopedics, ENT, GI/Endoscopy, OB/GYN, Spine, Cath Lab, and Urology.
- Participate in rotating daily assignments during scheduled work weeks: early (first-out), ASC, and late call.
- Participate in a 1:3 call rotation.
- Work as part of a four-anesthesiologist team, with three anesthesiologists on site daily, alongside 11–14 CRNAs.
