About The Position
Corewell Health, Michigan’s largest health system, is seeking CAAs to join our dedicated team of anesthesia providers at Lake Drive. This role offers competitive full-time annual base salary of $283,250. Call shifts take place at Butterworth or Blodgett Hospital. Call pay is in addition to the annual base – with further income potential available for picking up additional shifts. Corewell Health is offering a $100,000 starting bonus - with a relocation allowance of up to $12,000. The position involves diverse cases in many different specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and more. Flexible scheduling options are available with 10 and 12-hour shift blocks. Call expectations are manageable with an anticipated maximum ratio of 1:7. This role offers work-life balance with the opportunity to earn more by covering additional call and additional shifts.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Anesthesiology (MSA) or Master of Medical Science.
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) upon hire.
- National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistant (NCCAA) certification upon hire.
- Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA certification within 90 days.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA certification within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
- Participate in call shifts at Butterworth or Blodgett Hospital.
- Cover additional call and additional shifts for increased earning potential.
- Manage diverse cases in various specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, and otolaryngology.
