About The Position
The Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesia care team by preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a surgical setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Anesthesia Technician experience
- Experience in operating room or surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures
- Understanding of infection control and patient safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
Nice To Haves
- Certification as Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T. / Cer.A.T.T.)
- Associate degree or accredited Anesthesia Technician program
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Assist during anesthesia procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia machines
- Ensure availability of emergency and airway equipment
- Clean, sterilize, and restock equipment
- Support patient positioning and workflow
