About The Position

The Anesthesia Technician assists the anesthesia department by maintaining clean, orderly, and well-stocked anesthesia supplies and inventory. The role maintains supplies such as scrubs, linens, carts, and instruments, and coordinates maintenance, repair, and replacement of anesthesia supplies and equipment. The technician works with surgical team members to support orderly and safe patient care.

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas. It is certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission and provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care. The hospital has more than 1,700 team members and 900 physicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrate understanding of MHD guidelines and references, Infection Control guidelines, and MHD safety guidelines.
• Maintain good relations with physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.
