Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Certified Technician Anesthesia Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to patient and equipment care and monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize and set up all anesthesia equipment.
• Assist the anesthesia provider with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, regional anesthetics, and airway management.
• Provide daily equipment maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Enter charges for services performed in the electronic medical record.
• Assist anesthesia care providers by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available, in working order and in the proper location for scheduled, emergent, and urgent surgical procedures.
