About The Position
The Anesthesia Tech will work in the Anesthesia Department, primarily during midshift hours. This role involves assisting in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures. Responsibilities include setting up supplies and equipment, turning over rooms, auditing, stocking, and maintaining anesthesia supply stations, calibrating POC equipment, performing high-level sterilization procedures, documentation, and basic equipment troubleshooting. The Anesthesia Tech will also be responsible for ordering supplies using the Lawson Material Management System.
Requirements
- High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech
- Associate’s Degree if no clinical experience
- Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects

- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
Responsibilities
