About The Position

The Anesthesia Tech carries out procedures supporting department functions. The role assists the anesthesia department with daily case preparation, room turnover, supply restocking, equipment cleaning, and other assigned duties. The position may also assist sterile processing technicians and the supply coordinator. The Anesthesia Tech follows established policies and procedures, communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors, provides excellent customer service to staff, management, and physicians, and applies Cooper core values. Other duties may be required.

Requirements

• One year of previous training and experience as a patient care technician or nursing assistant.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to take independent action.
• High school diploma required.
• BLS certification required.

• Formal patient care technician or nursing assistant training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the anesthesia department with daily preparation for cases.
