About The Position
The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for maintaining anesthesia equipment, setting up anesthesia locations, and assisting anesthesia providers as requested. Other responsibilities include ordering and stocking supplies, troubleshooting and monitoring equipment, and assisting with transfer of patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of anesthesia machines and accessory equipment
- Knowledge of ordering and maintaining inventory with special eye toward fiscal responsibility
- Basic patient care associate knowledge, appropriate to all age groups
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- BLS certification
- Less than one year of Anesthesia Technician experience
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years anesthesia technician experience
- Experience in a community hospital institution
