About The Position

The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support and performs routine duties relevant to the Department of Anesthesia. The Surgical Services department includes 3 ORs. We provide a full range of surgery programs -- inpatient or outpatient, general or specialty -- in an environment that promotes healing. Surgical services include by not limited to: General surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, Urology, Colorectal, Gynecology, Gastrointestinal (GI), Plastic surgery. This department, along with all departments within the hospital, supports the guiding principles of the hospital in providing care that is customized and reflects the patient's needs, values, and choices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous Anesthesia Experience Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare related field

Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of all anesthetic equipment and routinely stocks all anesthesia supplies.
• Prepares equipment and supplies for use by anesthesiologist and CRNAs and assists as directed.
• Provides medications for use by anesthesiologist, and works with pharmacist to ensure availability of drugs needed.
