Assists licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to the care and monitoring of patients and equipment. This role involves assisting with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management. The Anesthesia Tech is also responsible for the daily maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining an adequate inventory of necessary equipment and supplies. They will also clean, sterilize, and set up all anesthesia equipment, and assist in the preparation of scheduled, emergent, and urgent surgical procedures by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available, in working order, and in the proper location.
