Anesthesia Pain Specialist Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra is seeking an Anesthesia / Pain Medicine Specialist to provide on-site specialist services as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the specialist’s current practice, typically involving approximately a four-hour shift at a Concentra location weekly or biweekly. Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the specialist will provide services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, communicate with employers, and take an active role in case management. Compensation is determined through a revenue-share model.
Requirements
- Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
- Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
- Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Be board certified or board eligible in Anesthesia and/or Pain Medicine.
- Have medical malpractice insurance that provides coverage while on site.

- Preferred experience treating patients with work-related injuries.
