Anaplan Senior Consultant
About The Position
This role supports Deloitte’s Planning & Forecasting (P&F) platform within the Enterprise Planning & Capital Management organization. The position serves as a technical subject matter expert for the Firm’s Anaplan-based planning and forecasting platform, supporting its implementation, operation, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement. The role partners with finance business partners, operational teams, and other stakeholders to provide reliable platform solutions and useful insights for business and finance leaders. The P&F Center of Excellence leads the US firm’s approach to annual planning, long-term planning, and forecasting, providing guidance, narrative, and insights that strengthen transparency, consistency, governance, and alignment with firm strategy. The organization serves as a strategic partner to business, market, and finance leaders, influencing decisions and financial and business outcomes. The successful candidate will lead projects or workstreams, manage technical implementation and complex enhancements, troubleshoot platform issues, and help translate data and conceptual insights into effective user experiences. The role is available to Enterprise Solutions professionals regardless of US office location. Recruiting for this role will end November 21st, 2026. Travel averages 0–10%, depending on the work, clients, and industries or sectors served.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or another technical discipline.
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience working in Finance or IT.
- Experience leading end-to-end Anaplan implementations.
- Ability to develop formulas and manage dependencies across interconnected Anaplan modules.
- Ability to create intuitive Anaplan UX pages with effective formatting and data visualizations for end users.
- Ability to manage end-user role-based security access.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementation, ongoing operation, and maintenance of the Firm’s Planning & Forecasting platform in Anaplan.
- Develop and implement complex platform enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Anaplan defects, providing regular verbal and written status updates to Finance Business Partners.
- Transform platform data into useful information through storyboarding and data visualization.
- Translate conceptual insights into user interface enhancements that help leaders make informed decisions.
- Recommend and design solutions for Anaplan defects and enhancements.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to drive systemic solutions and sustainable platform impact.
- Apply expertise in platform frameworks, business-specific design methodology, and calculations.
- Develop and follow sprint cycles, create user acceptance testing scripts, and assist end users during testing.
- Lead projects or workstreams and provide clear guidance to others.
