This position is within our strategy practice. As a Strategy Engagement Manager, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to our clients—partnering with clients as they shape their Data, Analytics, and AI transformation agendas. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation, driving value through enterprise data and AI strategies and translating vision into executable roadmaps. In this role, you will lead client engagements that determine business needs and desired future state capabilities or products that can quantify expected value and business impact, specifically related to data, analytics, and AI investments. You’ll partner closely with client stakeholders and Aimpoint’s technical teams to develop actionable strategies across enterprise data, analytics, AI, governance, operating models, and data/AI product opportunities. Additionally, you will drive the development and evolution of our go-to-market Strategy offerings by supporting business development, shaping proposals, and developing reusable methodologies and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s in Business or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of recent consulting, advisory, or other client facing strategy roles leading Data & Analytics or AI projects & teams or experience leading initiatives around data, analytics, or AI strategy
  • Demonstrated experience working with modern data platforms and tools, such as: Anthropic’s Claude Suite, OpenAI, Snowflake, and Databricks with a functional understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, discover and define requirements, build and deliver strategic recommendations, and translate them into actionable roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of AI and GenAI capabilities, limitations, and enterprise implications, without requiring hands-on experience building models, pipelines, or MLOps frameworks

Nice To Haves

  • Proven track record of developing data governance and AI governance programs, including ethical and regulatory considerations
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), RPA, and MLOps practices is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of data product management principles, including product lifecycle management, data service design, and go-to-market strategy
  • Familiarity with monetization models such as tiered data services, embedded analytics, and data marketplaces
  • Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), PMI-ACP, or AI Governance/Responsible AI are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements focused on Enterprise Data & AI strategies, aligning business objectives to solutions that are designed to scale
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and assessments to evaluate current-state analytics and AI maturity across people, process, technology, governance, and readiness for scale
  • Develop data monetization strategies, including internal value creation (e.g., operational efficiency, personalization) and external revenue models (e.g., data-as-a-service, API products)
  • Identify and define data, analytics, & AI use cases, including the value proposition, feasibility and implementation plan
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to define future-state data architectures, data governance models, data pipelines, MLOps frameworks, and product lifecycle workflows to support trusted data consumption
  • Develop strategy deliverables, including roadmaps, operating models, governance structures, business cases, use-case prioritization frameworks, and transformation plans
  • Create practice accelerators including delivery frameworks, maturity assessments, templates, and POVs for AI Strategy, Data Products, and Monetization.
  • Support sales and business development by shaping proposals, participating in client pursuits, and driving thought leadership.
