About The Position

The JM Family College Internship Program provides college students with meaningful work experiences related to their studies. Interns contribute to their teams, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and build skills through learning opportunities and networking events. The summer program runs from May 24, 2027, through July 30, 2027, and the ideal candidate is available to work full-time during that period.

The Analytics Intern supports the team’s roadmap for model development and analytics projects. The role contributes to data processing, analysis, and model development and validation activities, while gaining hands-on experience and supporting department initiatives. Interns also learn about JM Family’s culture and its core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in a relevant field; candidates in related fields will also be considered.
• Have completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Pursue a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong critical-thinking skills.
• Be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 24, 2027–July 30, 2027).

Nice To Haves

• SQL coding knowledge preferred.
• Python coding knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support data processing activities that prepare information for analysis and modeling.
• Perform data analysis to support analytics projects and team initiatives.
• Assist with model development activities aligned with the team’s roadmap.
• Support model validation efforts to help evaluate analytical models.
• Apply critical thinking when reviewing data, analytical results, and model outputs.
