About The Position

The JM Family College Internship Program provides college students with meaningful work experiences related to their programs of study. Interns contribute to their teams, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and build skills through learning opportunities and networking events. Interns gain hands-on experience through projects and tasks and contribute to department initiatives while learning about the company’s core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability.

The Analytics Intern supports the team’s roadmap for model development and analytics projects, contributing to data processing, analysis, and model development and validation activities. The ideal candidate is available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program, May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027. Work arrangements may be flexible depending on business needs and are subject to performance, business need, and manager discretion.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with at least one semester of coursework completed.
• Pursue a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; candidates in related fields will also be considered.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Have strong critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• SQL coding knowledge.
• Python coding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support data processing activities that prepare information for analysis and modeling.
• Perform data analysis to support analytics projects and team initiatives.
• Assist with model development activities aligned with the team’s roadmap.
• Support model validation efforts to help evaluate analytical models.
• Apply critical thinking when reviewing data, analytical results, and model outputs.
