Analytics Engineer

Benchmark Utility Services•Dulles, VA

About The Position

The Analytics Engineer builds and supports the reporting, data preparation, and business solutions layer of technology environments delivered to clients. The role turns curated client data into reliable semantic models, reports, and practical solutions, while supporting data cleanup, standardization, and governance across client systems. Reporting to the Director of Technology Architecture, the position owns a queue of small client projects and works with stakeholders across project management, operations, safety, HR/payroll, and accounting. The work is primarily technical, with some direct user support. The role develops and maintains semantic models and reports, prepares and validates reporting data, and delivers small client solutions from scoping through implementation. It also documents data flows and solutions, follows environment and change-control standards, supports user access and adoption, and contributes to assigned AI pilot use cases.
