About The Position

Knichel Logistics is hiring an Analytics Engineer to own the path from its Snowflake data warehouse to the Power BI reports used by Finance, Operations, Sales, customers, and carriers. The role reports to the CFO and supports an intermodal marketing and freight brokerage business with data spanning shipment and load activity, rail and truckload operations, carrier performance, customer quotes and billing, carrier settlements, and financial accounting. The position adds capacity to a small team that builds and maintains the data platform end to end, taking ownership of the warehouse, reporting models, and a growing portfolio of internal and external reports. This is a hands-on builder role involving Snowflake SQL, dimensional and star-schema design, DAX, row-level security, and close collaboration with business teams to ensure reports answer their needs. The Analytics Engineer will build data pipelines and transformation layers, develop Power BI semantic models and dashboards, partner with Finance, Pricing, Operations, and Sales, and establish automation, reconciliation, documentation, and data-quality practices. The position is onsite in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, and is full-time and exempt. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Knichel Logistics cannot provide employment-based visa sponsorship or other employer-sponsored work authorization for this position, now or in the future.
