Ontic is hiring a dedicated Analytics Engineer to help build and scale the data and AI foundation of its enterprise SaaS business. Reporting to the Sr. Director of AI & Analytics within the centralized Operations organization, this hands-on role focuses on architecting scalable analytics systems and AI-enabled workflows that support company decision-making. The role will design core data models, architecture, and reusable assets for Product, Engineering, and Design, while helping evolve the analytics function for the age of AI. It is a foundational hire with high ownership and long-term growth potential. The Analytics Engineer will build and maintain data models and pipelines, establish standards and governance, and partner with teams across the company to operationalize business metrics. They will also create data foundations for internal AI applications, integrate analytics and AI into operational workflows, and develop scalable infrastructure for data activation and analysis. Ontic’s analytics stack includes Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Hightouch, and Omni; its AI and knowledge systems include Notion, Cursor, and Glean. Experience with these tools is helpful but not required. Strong fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologies quickly are valued. Ontic describes this as an AI-augmented analytics capability that embeds data into operational workflows, supports enterprise decision-making, and treats architecture as a strategic asset.
