Analytics Engineer

The job overview for this position is that the company is seeking an Analytics Engineer who will be responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines and tools, participating in the end-to-end process of data modeling, supporting data-driven discussions, optimizing and structuring data, and promoting data literacy within the company. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data, proficiency in SQL and general-purpose programming languages, knowledge of database architecture and modeling techniques, the ability to translate business concepts into quantitative metrics, and advanced English proficiency.

• Contribute to design and maintenance of production data pipelines (ETL) and tools
• Participate in the end-to-end process, from requirements mapping to data modeling
• Support data-driven discussions within the team and across business areas
• Identify opportunities to optimize and structure data
• Act in data literacy in the company, sharing best practices and improving documentations

• Comfortable with SQL and can write queries of different levels of complexity
• Comfortable using general purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, Scala, etc.)
• Knowledge of different Database architecture and modeling techniques for analytical purposes (e.g. Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, etc.)
• Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g. KPIs, OKRs, etc.)
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+ accordingly to CEFR)
