About The Position

Pyrotek is a global leader in high-temperature materials, impacting various industries worldwide. Our global team has decades of experience providing new technologies, advanced engineering systems, and innovative materials to clients in the aluminum, steel, and other sectors. We are looking to hire an IT and ERP Systems Analyst for our plant located at 1623 rue de la Manic in Chicoutimi, QC. This role involves providing high-quality first and second-level support for our ERP and associated applications, investigating and resolving data and integration issues, developing reports and automations, and contributing to projects and continuous improvement. The position requires travel to our Drummondville and Sherbrooke plants.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to doing good work.
  • Excellent organizational skills and structured work approach.
  • Strong ability to explain systems in simple terms.
  • Aptitude for user training.
  • Over 3 years of experience in the use, implementation, and/or support of ERP applications in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and others.
  • Proven customer-oriented support skills.
  • Ability to write and document.
  • Must be able to travel to Sherbrooke or Drummondville when required (valid driver's license).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a DEC in Computer Science combined with several years of experience as an analyst.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within a manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regional support to ERP users in our Canadian facilities.
  • Participate in the creation of training plans and deliver training on our various business solutions such as Monday, Power BI, and others.
  • Analyze and develop data management solutions and integrate them.
  • Monitor planned and automated ERP processes, identify failures/latencies, and implement corrective measures.
  • Write, maintain, and execute SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL objects.
  • Develop and maintain operational management reports.
  • Analyze current business processes in various departments and participate in their optimization.
  • Lead or contribute to ERP-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives (process mapping, root cause analysis, master data cleansing).
  • Provide assistance to data management system users and be available to travel as needed for regional deployments, workshops, and commissioning.
  • Communicate with the US headquarters on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and policies.
  • Perform other related tasks.
