About The Position

The next generation product engineering group is working on the design and development of a new type of engine. You will work within a motivated and dynamic multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 high-level engineers with various specialties who collaborate closely achieve Hybrid-Electric flight demonstration as well as to improve the future product. As a multi-disciplinary Mechanical Analyst, you will use and/or develop a wide range of theoretical and practical skills. This position will also allow you to develop practical & systemic thinking.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Candidate must be adaptable, self-motivated and have demonstrated abilities in working effectively under aggressive project timelines
  • Analytical thinking and aptitudes towards resolution of complex problems.
  • Capacity to work with minimal instructions following first principles.
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and education in structural analysis (stresses, thermal, modal, dynamics), fluids (CFD, Hydrodynamics) and durability analysis (fatigue/fretting/wear) is a plus.
