About The Position

Reporting to Director and Senior Risk Management Officer, the Analyst, Risk Management, plays a pivotal role in the operationalization of the company's risk management framework by supporting the execution of risk management programs and the development and maintenance of robust risk documentation. This position collaborates with the business to ensure effective execution of first line risk activities, while also facilitating risk reporting and fostering a proactive risk culture through training and guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required
  • 1-3 years relevant experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Professional working proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) is required to work with documentation written in English and interact with English-speaking stakeholders.
  • Autonomous, capacity for analysis, result-oriented with excellent organization abilities required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively and support multiple stakeholders required

Responsibilities

  • Help develop, maintain, and continuously improve risk management documentation, such as inventories, assessments, and control libraries.
  • Assist with translations, version control, and approvals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline or improve documentation quality.
  • Support the design, update and maintenance of risk management training materials, job aids, and reference guides.
  • Support the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and onboarding activities to strengthen risk awareness and capability within the first line of defense.
  • Support the business in the operationalization of risk management programs, including self assessments, issue remediation tracking, and business continuity planning.
  • Monitor completion and quality of risk activities, identify gaps or delays, and escalate issues in accordance with established governance processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise risk management systems, providing end user support, troubleshooting, and guidance on system functionality and best practices.
  • Support system onboarding, enhancements, data quality reviews, and periodic updates to ensure tools effectively support risk processes and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with second line, internal audit, compliance, and business stakeholders to support enterprise-wide risk initiatives and other special projects.
