The team is looking for candidates interested in: Working dynamically to plan, coordinate, and execute operational readiness activities, in conjunction with our clients' operations personnel and project teams responsible for designing, building, and commissioning new systems and equipment; Utilizing state-of-the-art systems and tools for operational readiness, as well as industry-specific expertise for the execution of operational readiness mandates; Providing customized services throughout the various project phases, so that each operational readiness plan meets the client's economic objectives for that project; Supporting operations beyond the project phase through performance improvement activities, such as optimizing reliability and productivity; In close collaboration with the company's digital group, providing digital technologies and solutions to transform the activities related to the client's mining and metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors for the better. Candidates received will participate in major projects within the client's teams while actively contributing to the development of the operational readiness group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations and Logistics Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • 0-3 years of industrial experience (in operations or consulting)
  • Sensitivity to client needs; ability to build lasting relationships based on openness and honesty with both clients and colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Team leadership skills and a willingness to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others to get the best out of a project or company.
  • Proven experience using the Microsoft suite and a planning tool like MS Project.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to an operating company and experience in maintenance, production, logistics, etc.
  • Work experience within a project framework.
  • Project management experience.
  • Training certification, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and project teams to develop business relationships and identify operational readiness needs and requirements.
  • Support clients in developing customized operational readiness planning and execution processes according to the organization and project.
  • Facilitate and lead workshops to develop operational strategies (production, maintenance, HSEC, procurement and logistics, recruitment, training, commissioning and production, etc.).
  • Develop the operational readiness plan in conjunction with operations personnel and project teams.
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of the operational readiness plan (activity coordination, project control, monthly reporting, risk management, and quality assurance).
  • Support the training of operations personnel and the commissioning of new assets.
  • Maintain, improve, and develop work processes and tools to optimize operational readiness activities.
  • Measure and present the added value of operational readiness to our clients (annual review).
