We're looking for someone to occupy the role of Analyst, but we've got to say, we're kind of picky. And we're dead set on finding someone with a desire to tell stories with data, all in support of developing great work for our clients. Insights from our team should help identify new growth opportunities as much as they support amazing, creative ideas. As an Analyst within the Measurement & Analytics practice at A&G, you will provide data & analytic services in support of our clients' marketing efforts to make their programs smarter and more impactful. You will maximize our clients' return on marketing investment through ongoing program measurement, disciplined in-market testing, and results-based performance management. From acquisition to retention to winback, you will transform multi-channel data into actionable, integrated marketing intelligence while building cross-functional partnerships internally & with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business or Finance (a Master's degree is a plus)
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in marketing or business analytics-related functions, whether in an agency environment or within a corporate business intelligence role (college graduates with no full-time experience is OK if education curriculum demonstrates relevant experience)
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis and insight development in the following fields: Media performance (inclusive of digital and online channels), Paid/owned/earned analysis (holistic analysis encompassing all media channels), Experience analytics (ability to analyze all consumer touch points across an ecosystem)
  • High level of comfort with data translation, successfully organizing, blending, and transforming disparate data sets into a cohesive database structure

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytic services to both A&G's clients and internal teams
  • Design and conduct analyses in support of marketing initiatives encompassing a variety of channels (e.g., broadcast, out of home, website, online advertising, email, search)
  • Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to the senior management team
  • Develop ability to design and interpret the results of in-market tests
  • Take a lead role as a technical resource to guide and QA the implementation of measurement solutions
  • Comprehensive measurement and analysis plans
  • Development of weekly, monthly reports (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Development of dashboards
  • Follow and improve documentation relating to existing processes and suggestions/presentations for improving those processes
  • Data consolidation and validation
  • Website behavior and customer experience analysis
  • Lead creation and completion of Multivariate and A/B testing documents (e.g., hypothesis creation, identifying success metrics, definition of technical specifications) and post-test analysis.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to advance media & measurement strategy to keep A&G at the industry forefront
  • Work with a cross-functional team to identify opportunities for optimization of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations to improve program performance
  • Don't take data at face value; maintain an out-of-the-box lens on insights and corresponding recommendations
  • Don't take "no" for an answer; keep digging until you find a sufficient client solution
  • Integrate the media and creative perspective into your data storytelling
  • Uphold and support A&G policies and practices-including PTO, wellness initiatives, and performance review processes.
  • Help balance client needs with internal culture, recognizing that strong contributions to team health and agency culture are essential to great work.
  • Build trust and foster collaboration by bringing enthusiasm for our clients, their business challenges, and the primary brand of A&G analytics.
  • Actively engage in shared learning forums, team meetings, and agency events to stay connected and contribute to our thriving creative community.
  • Develop skills in effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders
