Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV) is launching the JHTV Analyst Program, a two-year experiential learning opportunity for recent graduates interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, healthcare, science, business, law, technology, and public impact. The Analyst, Ventures & Capital Strategy will contribute to high-priority strategic initiatives while gaining exposure to technology commercialization, startup formation, intellectual property, corporate engagement, venture funding, and innovation management. This program includes cohort-based learning, professional development, executive exposure, cross-functional projects, and mentorship to develop analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Analysts may be considered for open positions within JHTV or the university at the end of the term, but continuation of employment is not guaranteed. The role supports startup portfolio management, translational funding, investor engagement, and strategic analysis, providing hands-on exposure to capital, resources, and commercialization processes. In addition to the duties described above, the analyst will conduct market, technical, competitive, and commercial research on emerging technologies, prepare analyses for interactions with venture capital firms and external partners, support the management and analysis of a portfolio of over 140 startup companies, develop data-driven insights for commercialization strategy and funding decisions, and work closely with faculty innovators, investors, and commercialization professionals.
