About The Position

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an Analyst, Total Rewards to support the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of their employee benefits and Total Rewards programs. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build expertise in benefits administration, vendor management, program governance, financial reporting, policy development, process improvement, and strategic HR initiatives. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Total Rewards, Benefits Administration, Finance, Vendor Management or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of employee benefits or Total Rewards programs is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or HRIS systems is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with external vendors or third-party administrators is an asset.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, governance and oversight of enterprise-wide Total Rewards Programs including: Fleet Program, Colleague and Corporate Discount Programs, Service Recognition Program, Relocation Program.
  • Support daily administration and resolution of colleague inquiries through ServiceNow and other channels.
  • Coordinate program eligibility, onboarding/offboarding activities and vendor file transmissions.
  • Maintain program documentation, policies, procedures and job aids.
  • Assist with program reporting, metrics and dashboards.
  • Monitor vendor service levels and support ongoing vendor governance activities.
  • Participate in vendor meetings, contract renewals and annual program reviews.
  • Assist with implementation of new programs and enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate administrative tasks and enhance the colleague experience.
  • Support compliance with company policies and program governance standards.
  • Assist the Benefits team with ongoing administration and governance of health and wellness programs.
  • Support program administration and issue resolution.
  • Assist with benefit reporting, analytics and annual budgeting activities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and business insights.
  • Support policy development and documentation.
  • Assist with implementation of benefit program enhancements and special projects.
  • Participate in benchmarking and market research to identify emerging trends and best practices.
  • Support communication materials and colleague education resources.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with development of reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Support audits and governance activities to ensure program compliance.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, Technology and external vendors.
  • Recommend opportunities to simplify processes, improve self-service and increase operational efficiency.
  • Support special projects including acquisitions, harmonization initiatives and implementation of new Total Rewards programs.
