Analyst Supplier Collaboration
About The Position
The Analyst Supplier Collaboration supports analysis of supplier performance, inventory flow, and product availability through data-driven insights. The role assists with supplier-facing performance reporting and dashboards, helps identify root causes of supply chain issues, and contributes to recommendations and cross-functional initiatives that improve in-stock levels, lead-time accuracy, and cost efficiency. It supports recurring supplier performance reviews by gathering and validating data, summarizing trends, and documenting findings, while following established processes to monitor performance and maintain consistent reporting. The analyst prepares routine dashboards, scorecards, reports, and supplier discussion materials; collects and validates data from business systems; and supplies analytical support to suppliers and internal transportation, distribution center, and inventory teams. The role manages assigned tasks and small workstreams with general supervision, providing accurate analyses and timely updates to broader project goals.
Requirements
- Advanced-level Microsoft Excel skills, such as using the AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing a centered page, and/or creating a pivot table.
Nice To Haves
- BA/BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Business, and at least 1 year of experience in a supply-chain or business role.
- Experience in retail, supply-chain, or merchandising analytics.
- Experience with SAP, BlueYonder, AS/400, DAA, Databricks, Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier performance and inventory flow to support improved in-stock levels, lead-time accuracy, and order reliability.
- Build and update routine dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint, ensuring data accuracy and clear communication of key metrics.
- Collect, prepare, and validate data from systems such as SAP, Databricks, BlueYonder, AS/400, SQL, R, or Python, under guidance from senior team members.
- Support collaboration with suppliers, transportation, distribution centers, and inventory teams by providing data, assisting with root-cause summaries, and documenting performance issues.
- Prepare materials and standard metric reports for supplier discussions and support communication of performance expectations and trends; assist in driving change as needed.
- Contribute analytical work to cross-functional initiatives that improve supply-chain efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain working knowledge of supplier collaboration tools and processes, and assist with updating documentation, templates, and reporting practices.
- Manage assigned tasks and small workstreams with general supervision, delivering accurate analyses and timely updates to support broader project goals.
- Gather and validate data, summarize trends, and document findings for recurring supplier performance reviews.
