About The Position

Astrana Health is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Initiatives Analyst to support enterprise-level priorities across growth, operations, performance management, and value-based care enablement. This role sits within the Office of the CFO/COO and works directly with cross-functional leaders to drive execution, develop structured insights, and help translate strategic priorities into operational results. The Analyst will operate as a connective layer across teams – combining analytical rigor, structured problem-solving, and strong execution skills to advance high-impact initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, economics, public health, or a related analytical field
  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, healthcare operations, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to independently structure and solve complex problems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Experience working with large, disparate data sets and translating analysis into clear, actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive workstreams with limited oversight
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, MSO operations, or value-based care environments is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with performance metrics, financial modeling, or KPI tracking frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Own workstreams within cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through execution
  • Develop structured analyses to inform leadership decisions (financial, operational, and performance data)
  • Build executive-ready materials including presentations
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Analytics, Network, Contracting, Clinical, and Technology teams to drive alignment and execution
  • Identify operational gaps and propose practical, scalable solutions
  • Track initiative progress, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed
  • Support development of repeatable processes and project management standards across initiatives
