About The Position

Sabre Systems is hiring an Analyst, Senior to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program provides readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources. Uses collaborative, data-driven operating models that include end-to-end readiness ecosystems (operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management). AI-enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution to improve the speed, scale, and consistency of analysis and decision support. The work includes producing readiness assessments and decision-support products; establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting; and integrating data from multiple authoritative and legacy sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and, where appropriate, AI/ML techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) are used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions that balance near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions. The Analyst, Senior will incorporate enterprise-wide knowledge and experience in one or more designated functional and/or concentration areas. Provides support to the customer on program/project operations. In addition, the selected candidate will: Defines problems, analyzes and develops strategies to achieve assigned objectives. Manages the preparation of analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation. Provides complex statistical modeling and analysis. Evaluates existing business goals, team functionality, and cross-discipline cooperation and develops recommendations to improve internal performance, shorten throughput time, and minimize internal costs, while increasing the overall quality of work, product, or service output. Implements improved systems, procedures and organizational changes. Employs analysis techniques, such as work breakdown structures, activity-based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, and program audits/evaluations and performance testing to achieve stated objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience. Allowable substitution: Six years of additional related work experience.
  • Fifteen years of related experience and of that; six (6) years must be direct experience the following concentration area: CAT/CFO: Supports the PPB&E/POM cycle, Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Execution Index (EI), O&S/enabler cost accounts, and the Strategic Cost Management (SCM) tools and models in use by OPNAV N83.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior level DoW government experience (GS14-15, O5-O6) may be considered favorably.
