About The Position

Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is seeking a highly organized and analytical Quality & Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support the organization’s quality improvement, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, validating, and submitting required quality and regulatory data while supporting the organization’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The Analyst works collaboratively with leadership and departments across the organization to ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements and to support data-driven operational improvement. The ideal candidate has experience with healthcare quality reporting, regulatory programs, performance improvement methodologies, and healthcare data analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience in quality, performance improvement, or regulatory reporting required.
  • Experience in Healthcare informatics, Clinical operations, Leadership, Quality improvement methodologies strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of QAPI methodologies, Regulatory reporting requirements, Patient safety principles, Performance improvement processes.
  • Ability to accurately collect, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Spreadsheets and reporting tools, Healthcare reporting systems and electronic health records.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and submit required reporting for assigned regulatory and quality programs, including: Medicare Promoting Interoperability, MIPS, MBQIP, HQIP / HCPF reporting, and Additional assigned reporting programs.
  • Ensure all reporting deadlines are met accurately and timely.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state quality reporting requirements.
  • Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret healthcare quality data.
  • Monitor trends and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and leadership teams.
  • Participate in QAPI and performance improvement meetings as requested.
  • Communicate regulatory updates and reporting requirements clearly and effectively.
  • Validate data integrity and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Maintain organized documentation and reporting records.
  • Support regulatory readiness and survey preparation activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare quality methodologies and reporting standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities related to QAPI and regulatory reporting.
